Pyramid Solitaire is a card game that uses a deck of 52 cards and has no time limit. This means the game can be played for as long as anyone wants to! The game's goal is to build up to four-suit stacks from Ace to King in each suit, using one or more base cards.
The player has three free cells on which you can place any card from the hand, but only one at a time. When a stack becomes empty, all cards are discarded, and new ones are drawn from the stockpile until an empty stack appears again.
The game is won when all 52 cards are in four stacks, and there is no stock left.
Aces can be moved to an empty stack, but Kings cannot! After the first round of playing a King from your hand on top of any other card, the player must move it directly into one of the suit stacks that have been started with only Ace and King.
A card can be moved from one of the four suit stacks to an empty stack that is lower in rank or equal with the next consecutive card below, but only when there are no cards on top of those that do not belong to that same stack!
This means the game cannot be played, for example, a six on top of a seven because this would make the stack of cards belonging to that suit incomplete.
Pyramid Solitaire can be altered between playing a card from the hand or using one from the stock by clicking on it. This way, the player can place more than one Ace in an empty pile and use them for building up any other starting stack later!
The game is lost when one runs out of moves, and the stockpile is empty. The game can also be won if all cards are in four stacks, but there's no more card to play from your hand! Pyramid Solitaire has over 1000 levels, and it never runs out of classes as long as you're enjoying playing this free online game! Have fun with Pyramid Solitaire!
