Princess Rescue: Save Girl is a rescue tower-defense game that emphasizes strategic play. It features a mix of parking lot sorting, tile-matching, and bubble-popping elements.
A princess needs the player's help to save her from dragons that slither along roads like giant snakes. The player sorts and unblocks arrow-marked boxes to access heavy artillery gun turrets that shoot projectiles.
A selected unblocked box slides into one of four empty hexagon-shaped spaces between the sorting and road areas. A turret then appears in position and auto-fires at color-matched dragon scales. The player can fill all spaces at one time. If they're willing to view ad videos, they can unlock two to three additional spaces.
When struck by a projectile, the dragon's scales pop like bubbles. The beast then slithers backwards or continues forward to attempt to reach the princess. When the player destroys all the scales, they win purple star medals and gold coins. They can increase their gold winnings by viewing ads. If they return to the game daily, they receive additional coins and booster bonuses.
Princess Rescue: Save Girl's four boosters include a slip feature that allows the player to use a blocked box. The game also provides them with special abilities when a turret automatically hits an icon floating above a dragon's body. Additionally, the player can perform upgrades with the purple medals, such as turning on a three-second invincibility ability, pushing a dragon away when it's too close to the princess, and increasing the shooting range of all towers.
If the player loses, they can use a life heart to continue playing. They can quit at any time to return to the home screen, but they must use a heart then as well.
