Prince Rescue: Fruit Connect is a connect-style tile-matching rescue game. In an underground prison, a princess finds herself in cruel traps on platforms near walls of spikes and other dangers across levels.
On the other end of each platform, the game offers a door to freedom. Yet, the villainous captor of the princess has blocked it with rocks that are slowly forced to push the door inward with a hydraulic press located above the platform. The player's mission is to save the princess by performing tile-matching actions.
The only way to stop the press and rocks is by creating space below a platform in an area filled with fruit-marked tiles. The player matches pairs of these tiles following connect gameplay rules. When they're successful, the gaps formed by removed tiles allow the rocks to fall away from the door. That said, the trap is on a timer. The player must act quickly before time runs out.
The tiles feature a variety of fruits, including apples, bananas, blueberries, cherries, figs, grapes, kiwis, melons, pineapples, plums and watermelons. The player can only select adjacent matching tiles or pairs across an unblocked gap. Additionally, they can't select any pairs separated by more than three golden connecting lines or two 90-degree right angles.
Prince Rescue: Fruit Connect offers three ad-supported boosters below the prison. That said, the game must have videos available when the player needs access, which doesn't always happen. When these tools are available, the player can shuffle the tiles with the Refresh button, discover a pair with the Tips button, and stop the timer temporarily with the Freeze button. If they fail a level, they can also revive the princess and their play by viewing an advertisement.
The game doesn't offer a pause or reload option. The player uses the back arrow in the upper-left corner to return to the home screen and then restart the last level.
