Pizza Party is a restaurant-simulation game with basic, job skills play and endless-runner elements. A player is tasked with preparing and serving pizzas. They receive an image of a pizza displayed in a customer's speech bubble.
The player uses ingredients found in stainless steel bins, such as tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, oregano, ham slices, anchovies and pepperoni, to add toppings to the dough. They then use a shortcut button to bake the pizza. They must work rapidly or risk angering the customer. If they match the pizza to the order perfectly, they receive cash and emoji rewards.
Unlike many similar simulation games, Pizza Party doesn't require the player to learn how to chop ingredients or use a pizza oven. They merely need to match the customer's order. They receive five opportunities to make mistakes before they lose the game. Their "lives" are displayed as a pizza icon with a number at the bottom left corner of the screen.
It's important to note that if the player taps the baking button accidentally before they place toppings on the dough, they lose one of their lives. They also lose a life if they top the dough with ingredients in the wrong order.
Pizza Party gives the player missions as well. They must make a certain amount of money before they can unlock new ingredients and levels of the game.
