Pet Me Maze is a casual brain test and labyrinth puzzle game. An anthropomorphic worm needs the player's help to complete challenging tasks in different scenes that sometimes feature other characters. Their goal is to unlock all scenes.
The player attempts to guess correctly and then directs the worm to slither through a maze to finish the task. Examples of tasks include pulling a flushed phone from a pipe, finding scissors to free another character from a tied rope, and reaching for a bar of soap on a wall shelf during a bath.
With each scene, the player must consider all elements to figure out the task. That said, most scenes also display a flashing dashed circle as a clue. After the player selects the correct spot, the scene switches to a maze.
Each scene has one or more obstacles or deadly threats. For example, the player must often direct the worm around corners, through blocked areas that only open with buttons, and away from angry crabs, powerful bombs, and scary spiders. On some levels, they must wait for a threat to move away from a section of the maze before proceeding forward.
Pet Me Maze offers three boosters below each scene. The player must view advertisements to access these helpful buttons. The boosters include a hint tool and a skip-level button.
The player can also switch to other characters via an upper-right button marked with a shopping cart. In the shop, they select one of the other five characters and then view an ad.
