Parking Jam is a sorting logic-puzzle game in the car parking subcategory that features a job element. The player manages several different parking lots throughout a city. Their job is to successfully direct cars out of a parking lot without causing a scenario in which some cars can't leave the lot. They earn coins as wages for their efforts.
The obstacles in this game include green concrete barriers, long concrete planters filled with plants, orange and white traffic cones, and elderly pedestrians. Many cars block the paths of other cars.
That said, the player receives no penalty if they crash a car into another car or obstacle. In fact, they can use this penalty-free option to slide cars into new positions that open up paths for other cars.
If all else fails, the player receives several helpful tools after they unlock specific levels, including a blue button marked with a concrete barrier that temporarily disables all obstacles, a pink button that briefly freezes any moving characters, and a red button marked with a hammer that allows them to destroy a vehicle entirely. To access these tools, they pay with coins or view ad videos.
Parking Jam provides the player with side fun as well. The player can use their coins to change the color and shape of exhaust and the car colors and designs. Highly expressive emojis also appear sometimes above the cars to indicate positive versus negative actions. Lastly, the game offers boss levels with massive parking lots and limited moves.
