PacXon New Realms, sometimes stylized as Pac-Xon: New Realms, is an arcade game based on the classic Pac-Xon and the original Pac-Man games. The player's goal is to help PacXon claim territories on fields across 48 levels.�
The player directs the character's movements along vertical and horizontal lines through bubbles in the first realm. They carve out an area of their territory by creating enclosed squares and rectangles to mark the borders. They must conquer at least 80% of a field to win the level and move on to the next one.
The game makes play challenging by presenting the player with enemies that bump PacXon back to the start point of a field or end the game by coming into physical contact with the character. Blue enemies move diagonally within PacXon's captured zones, pink and yellow enemies move diagonally and vertically, respectively, in non-captured areas, and red enemies move diagonally and eat the captured blocks.
PacXon New Realms offers the player four boosters to help them stop enemies. They can direct the character to eat candy to give it the ability to eat enemies, donuts to make it move faster, cake slices to make enemies move slower, and cupcakes to make enemies stop temporarily.
On the home screen, the player can also update the character's appearance by viewing ads. If they use the Realm Menu button at the upper-left corner that's marked with a globe icon, they can visit other locations with unique landscapes to conquer and find new skins.
