OMG Word Sushi brings the joy of sushi and dining out to the OMG Word connect-style word-puzzle series. The game has nine chapters with multiple locked levels per chapter. The player's goals are to connect letter tiles to create words and earn associated stars to unlock levels.
The player can start with any chapter, but they must play the levels in order. In a level, they receive several light-orange tiles marked with black letters. Beneath this area, the game displays a specific number of white spaces that represent one or more words. The player must connect the letter tiles to fill the spaces.�
OMG Sushi continues the series' tradition of asking the player to guess a single word, a list of unrelated words, or a group of words in a phrase. They must also sometimes connect tiles around or between blank tiles. That said, many levels contain words specific to making and eating sushi and other dishes and eating out.
The player creates a word by drawing a narrow yellow line from tile to tile in order. As they slide their cursor over the tiles, each one turns dark orange. If they have difficulty, they can skip the level by viewing a video.
Any mistake typically leads to the loss of a star. The good news is that the player can unlock the next level even if they don't earn all three stars.
