Odd Bot, a maze puzzle game with contraption elements, asks a player to help an adorable tiny, yellow, one-eyed robot named Odd reach golden cubes hanging in different spots in levels known as worlds. The game features 14 separate play areas with building ruins and natural environments designed to look like they were built with colorful, plastic, construction blocks.
The player must rearrange the blocks to help Odd reach the cube. For example, they might shift a small or large purple block to use it as an elevator or escalator for Odd. They might direct Odd to stand on top of a tiny, red, one-eyed bot called Carbot to move across a gap in a path through a garden or building. Each world name provides the player with a clue about the best way to solve the maze puzzle.
If Odd makes it to the cube, the game takes a Polaroid-style photograph of the achievement and pops blue and white confetti across the screen.
How to play:
Turn the special area of a unique world left, right, up or down to change the camera perspective and evaluate the maze paths to the golden cube. Determine the best strategy. Direct Odd's movements to the cube. Reposition elevators, Carbot and other blocks, as needed.
Mouse: To command Odd to walk in a direction, click a spot on the path in that desired direction. To turn the world or shift the position of a block, move the cursor to the object by sliding the mouse, press and hold the left button, and then slide the mouse in the desired direction.
Mobile: To command Odd, tap a spot on the path in the desired direction. To turn the world or shift the position of a block, move the cursor to the object by sliding the tip of a finger or stylus across the screen or trackpad, press and hold the tip against the surface, and drag in the desired direction.
