Number Rush is a hypercasual rush-style racing game. The player directs a number down a two-tone striped racetrack to collect as many other numbers as possible, reach a black-and-white checkered finish line, and then smash through numbered gates. Their other goals are to earn gold coins, bonus multipliers and chests and perform paid upgrades that help them win future races.
The player receives a blue number. They can only collect other blue numbers. If they allow their number to touch a higher-value red number, they fail and must restart the race. If their number's value is higher than a red one, it merely loses some points. During the blue number collection process, red numbers often transform into blue ones.
The game presents the player with plenty of traps typically seen on obstacle courses. For example, the player also loses if they allow their blue number to drop off either side into the empty space next to and under the track.
Number Rush gives the player plenty of opportunities to increase their number's final value and potential coin winnings. For example, they can direct the number through green gates and points multipliers. They can also use their coins to perform an upgrade that gives them a higher-value number at the start of a race.
