Number Match: Classic Number Game is a number-matching logic-puzzle game. The player attempts to meet specific goals by matching numbers on grid-style cells.
The game features three modes (i.e., Classic, Daily and Adventure). With Classic mode, the player attempts to earn the highest score possible across stages. They must clear a grid entirely to reach the next stage. With Daily, they attempt to earn a specific number of coins each month by clearing a grid every day. The Adventure mode presents them with a hidden picture that they unveil by completing tasks to unlock levels. Tasks include reaching a specific score and collecting a preset number of gemstones.
Across all moves, the player clears a grid or completes a task by matching pairs of numbers. They can match and remove a pair of adjacent horizontal, vertical or diagonal numbers that create 10 when added (1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6, and 5+5). They can also match identical numbers (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, and 9-9).
Additionally, the player can perform a wraparound move and match a number at the end of a row with one at the beginning of the row beneath it, as long as they follow the rules. They can even match numbers across spaces that previously contained other numbers.
Number Match removes empty rows entirely, which can create new opportunities. The upward slide places numbers into new adjacent or connected (i.e., across gaps) positions.
If the player can't see any more pairs, they can use a light bulb hint button to find more. If no more matches exist, they can use a plus sign (+) button to add more numbers to the grid. Both of these tools offer limited help unless the player watches ad videos.
