Nonogram Jigsaw is a paint-by-numbers tiling puzzle game. The player paints cells on grids to create pixelated mini-paintings of objects and people. When they complete the artwork, they receive and assemble hexagon-shaped puzzle pieces to create animated pictures.
The game provides initial coin and diamond banks. The player uses the diamonds to access nonogram puzzles. During play, they use a process of elimination to paint the correct cells green. A grid displays numbers at the beginning of each column and row that help direct their steps.
The player starts by painting the cells in side-to-side lines. For example, if the game displays a number that equals the entire number of cells within a column, they paint every cell. After they perform this action with all relevant columns, they cross-reference against the numbers before each row.
For example, if a row that crosses a filled column has only a 1 next to it to indicate that it should have only one painted cell, then the player places Xs in all the remaining empty cells. This process reduces the number of empty cells and narrows down the placement of the green paint in other columns and rows.
Nonogram Jigsaw confirms correct actions by changing the color of the numbers from black to gray or green. It also provides a coin-access hint tool that auto-fills the paint and Xs in any selected row or column.
On the home screen, the player uses the Jigsaw button to access the Happy Party jigsaw puzzle side game. If they complete enough nonograms, they can access additional animated puzzles. They can review potential pictures with the Event button labeled with a book.
