Neon Tower is an endless, helix-maze puzzle game with a cyberpunk neon theme. A player must try to score the highest points possible by moving a bouncing black, neon-edged ball across platforms and through gaps down the side of a glowing tower shaped like a helix maze with see-through black platforms edged with neon colors.
The player doesn't move the ball that bounces automatically with yellow sparks and liquid pools underneath it. Instead, they turn the tower side-to-side either left or right at any time to move the positions of platforms, planks and gaps under and near the ball. With every successful ball drop down the side of the tower, the upper platforms fall away.
The game definitely doesn't make the maze easy. The player must deal with stationary and moving red planks on some of the platforms that can stop the ball and flatten it, which immediately ends the game. The moving planks also slide over top the black ones or across gaps, which means the player must time their movements of the tower to prevent dropping the ball onto red planks.
Neon Jump shows the player's all-time best score at the top left corner of the screen next to a trophy. After the player inevitably loses a game, they try to beat that number.
