My Caramels is a match-3 puzzle game with a sweet treat theme. While a family takes a car ride through the wilderness, the player helps them make the most of their trip by playing fun match-3 games across 150 stages and 3,000 unique puzzle levels.
The player must match three or more hard candies, other desserts or related ingredients to complete goals. They must also attempt to earn star-embossed coins and three stars per level. To collect coins outside of stage play, they can claim daily rewards and spin wheel prizes. They can also collect coins from a gift box by viewing ad videos.
Once the player enters the first stage and level, they complete goals displayed in a Goals area at the top of the screen. They must complete their task before they run out of a limited number of moves displayed in real time in the upper-right area of the screen. They can track their star programs with three placeholder stars below the Moves area.
My Caramels has many well-known elements seen throughout popular match-3 games. The player must rearrange candies on boards to create horizontal or vertical lines of three or more color-matched ones. When they perform matches of four or more, they receive special items, such as line and cross blast candies and rainbow candies. These items make it easier for them to reach their goals. For example, they can use a rainbow candy to remove all of the same color and type of candy from a board with one move.
The game also supplies boosters that include explosive bombs, one-candy hammers, row and column rockets, and shuffle stars. With matches, special items and boosters, the player can also collect other foods and ingredients, such as chocolate jail windows, pink icing dollops and crispy crackers.
