Mojicon Winter Connect is a timed connect-style tile-matching game with a holiday theme. An adorable reindeer wearing a Santa hat with matching red mittens asks the player to remove tiles from a snow-covered scene with only a few seconds on a clock. The player must also attempt to transform three green stars into three yellow ones.
Wood tiles marked with snowflakes appear at the center of the screen. Each tile displays an emoji associated with winter, such as a figure blowing cold winds, snow falling from white clouds, and a decorated happy snowman. The player can only remove two identical ones that are in adjacent positions or open along edges or across gaps at a distance of no more than three connecting lines.
Each game features the level number, timer and star progress in the upper-left area. When the player makes matches, they receive extra time. If they struggle to find a match, the game highlights a pair of identical tiles with red. That said, an automatic hint can take too long and result in a loss, unless the player's previous moves have made the time on the clock long enough to handle the wait.
Mojicon Winter Connect often challenges the player. For example, it sets up gravity rounds that cause tiles to slide across gaps into new positions. It makes some tiles randomly jump to new positions after a match. It even blocks access to different tiles with ice.
The game offsets these disruptive, time-consuming forces with three upper-right booster buttons. The player can freeze the timer with a snowflake, reveal identical tiles with a magnifying glass, and reposition all of the remaining tiles with double arrows. The player accesses booster buttons with ad views and holiday presents.
