Mini Golf from the online fanmade arcade known as Fancade is a skill-based, sports game. A player must navigate a cube-shaped, mini-golf ball on two-tone checkerboard floors on raised platforms edged with brown rails across 50 levels.
The player's goal is to hit the ball into a hole under a white pole with a red flag on each level. The available number of shots per level are displayed with club icons at the bottom of the screen. The game uses controls similar to those found in online billiards, which means that the player must pull the cursor away from the ball in the opposite direction that they want to hit it. Otherwise, gameplay is straightforward with common putt-putt floors and obstacles, including inclines, corners and traps.
Mini Golf provides a tool that indicates the amount of force available when hitting the ball. For example, one green cube indicates the smallest amount. Five red cubes indicate a hit that applies the most force. If the player performs well, a level ends with a photo finish.
How to play:
Wait for a white circle to appear around the ball. Align a shot in a direction with a specific amount of force. Hit the ball. Whenever necessary, knock the ball into side walls and corners to make it travel farther along the floor.
Controls:
Mouse: To hit the ball, position the cursor above it, press the left button, slide the cursor in the direction opposite of the shot, confirm the force with the indicator, and then release the button. To change camera perspective, press the left button outside of the white circle, and slide the mouse in a direction.
Mobile: Position the cursor, press the touch pad or screen, slide the stylus pen or finger, wait for the indicator to show the desired color, and then stop pressing the surface. To change the camera perspective, press the surface, and slide the stylus pen or finger in a direction.
