Mini-Caps: Arena is a battle-arena game that allows a player to see how well they can do against the game system or real-world combatants whose avatars wear baseball or mini cap-style headwear. The player is represented by a post-apocalypse avatar who also wears a hat. When they go into battle, they receive a weapon and a vehicle.
The player starts by customizing the avatar, weapon and vehicle. They can even select which arena they want to go into first. Additionally, if they want to test their skills against the game, they receive an option to select the number of bots that appear onscreen as competition.
Mini-Caps: Arena offers a lot of action. Bot and real-world players can attack from inside of their vehicles and use their vehicles as weapons. These combatants also have guns, grenade launchers, flame throwers and many other deadly weapons at their disposal. Lastly, the player must deal with a wide range of obstacles, including ramps, explosives, lava pits, metal shipping containers, wooden crates and hungry zombies.
