Mind Controller is a casual fighting game that makes it possible for a player via their avatar to control the minds of enemies in battle-arena settings using nothing more than a video game controller. The player must kill one or more enemies per arena to move on to the next one and unlock new controllers.
The game is unique because the avatar doesn't wield actual weapons. Instead, they use the controller the same way they would with various video games. For example, they can utilize special skills like magic through controller buttons to destroy the red, angry-faced stickmen who populate the arenas. They can drop meteors on the enemy or open up a black hole beneath their feet. Other skills include lightning bolts, spike balls and mind control over multiple combatants.
The player must direct their controller's laser to point toward an enemy to use these and other weapons. When they work the controller correctly, one or more stickmen turn blue, stop walking and become unable to move forward. The player can pick them up and drop them into water or a spike pit, throw them against rotating saw blades or use some other trap in the arena or unleash a special skill.
How to play:
Aim the controller at an enemy until the laser aligns to turn the figure blue. Use the special skills button. If necessary, drop or slam the enemy against a killing object. Repeat these steps with all other enemies.
Keyboard: Mind Controller works best with a computer keyboard. To use a controller's movement buttons, press W, A, S and D. To use skills, as dictated by the type of controller, press the 1 to 6 keys or E. To use select, press Shift. To use start, press Spacebar.
Mouse: To aim the controller at the enemy, press the left button, and drag the mouse. To use the controller's buttons, click them.
Mobile: To aim the controller at the enemy, press the touch screen or pad surface, and slide across it. To use the controller's buttons, tap them.
