Mind Blocks is a block puzzle game similar to classic wood-block games. That said, it offers a unique twist as well.
On an 8x8 dark blue grid of squares against a medium blue background, the player must arrange polyomino shapes in varying shades of rainbow colors in columns and rows to earn points for as long as possible.
The game offers two modes of play (Classic and Crystal). With Classic, the player attempts to play endlessly. With Crystal, they attempt to do the same while also collecting and charging different crystals that perform booster power moves. For example, a charged crystal might remove a shape from the grid to free up space, or flip or change the three available shapes to fit existing gaps.
Mind Blocks requires the player to use logic to determine how best to proceed with each shape. They receive three shapes at a time on a ring to the left of the board. If the player arranges the shapes into multiple lines that they can remove with one shape and move, they receive bonus points. The game displays the player's score above the board atop a pulsing heart and all-time gold crown score at the upper-left corner.
