Merry Christmas 2025 is a match-3 game set in a winter wonderland at Christmastime. In snow-covered forests and villages, the player creates lines of three or more matching items on columns and rows to help Santa Claus and his assistants.�
Level by level, the player collects common Christmas and winter gifts, such as books, bows, hats, mugs and ornaments. If they form lines of more than three of the same type, they create special items that make collecting easier. For example, when they create a square of matching items, they make a spinning top that randomly removes one item from the board. With five matching items, they create a rainbow sphere that removes all items of the same type with one move.
When matching items, the player can remove obstacles, such as boxes or chains, by merging special items. For example, they can merge a spinning top with a rocket to prompt the former to carry the latter to another area and remove a column or row. They receive additional help from boosters located below the board, including a hammer that removes any single item and a red mitten that removes items in a 3x3 subgrid.�
Merry Christmas 2025 has side games and quests. The player earns gifts after they complete a specific number of levels. They help Santa's snowman friend find puzzle pieces to complete postcards. They earn 40 achievement medals and advance from trainee to new titles. They also receive daily and weekly quest rewards.
