Merge Magnat: Ideal Store, also known simply as Merge Magnat, is a business and trade simulation and management game that features automated and click-tap incremental and merge mechanics. At various locations that start out with a tropical beach, the player installs, designs and manages thriving retail shopping areas.
At each location, the game presents a two-tone green grass checkerboard. The player uses tools on a vertical panel to the right of the location to invest in building stores, attracting customers, speeding up traffic, taking in revenues to generate income, doubling income profitability and performing other tasks associated with retail sales.
The player starts in a location with a 4x4 space. They use their startup funds to build initial shops. When they merge identical shops, they create upgraded ones capable of increasing revenues.
Some shops face the entry point where customers visit the location, while others face outward where customers walk around the shopping district. The player must position the shops in optimal spots to generate the most interest and revenues. Once a customer visits one or more stores, the money automatically appears on the screen. After the player earns enough income, they can travel to a new location that has a larger checkboard sales district. If they place a shop in a bad spot, they earn no income from it.
Merge Magnat helps the player earn additional coins for their investments in several ways. They randomly receive coin rewards after they create a certain number of buildings. They can also click-tap an upper-left corner coin button repeatedly. Additionally, they can access extra coins by viewing videos. All of these options appear intermittently during gameplay.
