Merge Fellas is a Suika merge game. Across four modes, the player merges unique meme characters in a container in a room to evolve matching ones into new types. Their goal with each mode is to create the last character in the evolution. They also attempt to earn a high score.
Many of the meme characters are hilariously or monstrously combined with items. For example, in the first mode, a cat has a shrimp tail, and a monkey is stuck inside of a banana. In the second mode, a crocodile looks like a watermelon, an orange is a bodybuilder, and a penguin wears sunglasses.
The player merges two characters by dropping one on top of an identical one. They can use a narrow targeting line to perform precision drops. They track the progress of the evolution on an arrow below the container. They can learn the identity of the next character in the drop sequence by checking a preview in the upper-right corner. If the player views a video, they can shake the container to reposition characters closer to their matches and prompt auto-merge outcomes.
Merge Fellas displays the player's score and best score in the upper-center area. The player only loses a game if they allow the characters to pile up too high inside the container. If they lose, they can revive their play by viewing a video.
