Merge Brick Breaker is a brick-breaking game with bubble shooter, incremental and 2048 merge elements. Level by level, the player removes colorful, numbered geometric shapes and bonus-level gold bars from a framed tabletop with a cannon that shoots numbered balls. Their goals are to clear the table of all shapes and earn the most coins before the bricks slide to the bottom.
The player initially receives multiple red balls marked with the number 1. As with other brick breakers, every time they hit a shape with one of these balls, the numbers on the shapes decrease by the same amount. When the player clears the table, they receive coins. If they're willing to view an ad, they can multiply their winnings.�
After the player completes a certain number of levels, the incremental and merge aspects occur on another screen on a checkered board with a circular merge area. The player drags two matching balls to the circle to create a higher-numbered ball that clears balls faster. They can use their coins to buy additional balls. As with incremental games, the amount they pay for the extra balls increases each time, unless they're willing to view ads.
Merge Brick Breaker also offers boosters. The player can use a hammer to break a brick of any number, a rocket to clear a vertical path of shapes, a boxing glove to clear a horizontal path, or a bomb to blow up all the bricks. After they run out of free boosters, they must watch ads to access more.
