Marble Merge is a timed merge game that features bubble shooter and evolution mechanics. The player's goals across 10 levels are to merge pairs of color-matched marble-style bubbles to create new bubbles in an evolution line and earn the highest score possible before time runs out.
In various daytime and nighttime environments that include a desert, a jungle, an undersea region and a volcanic area, the player performs merges with an ornate gold, two-projectile shooter positioned at the center of two rings. The projectile colors start at one end of the rainbow spectrum and evolve toward black and then glossy, mixed-color glass marbles.
When the player positions two matching projectile marbles into adjacent spots on the outer ring, the marbles roll toward each other and merge to form a new colored marble. When the player strikes a matching or non-matching bubble marble, the bubbles pop and disappear from the ring.
Marble Merge displays the level number, current score and a countdown timer on the right side of the screen. It shows a horizontal evolution bar with marble merge goals below the ring field. When the player creates a new bubble, the matching colored bubble flashes on the bar.
If the player completes the process quickly, they receive a bonus. Over time, they can track their daily, weekly, monthly and all-time scores via a leaderboard button on the home screen.
