Mansion Tale: Merge Secrets is a business and career simulation, property renovation and adventure-mystery game. The player teams up with a designer named Ashley to restore and save a previously popular historic mansion before its sold at a foreclosure auction. Their team, along with the mansion's butler, Sebastian, and other characters, must work hard to complete all the renovations and make profits from the property to settle the debt in time.�
The design team's main renovation tasks are clean-up, demolition, installation, restoration and decorating. The overall tasks, from finishing small, medium and large projects to speaking with other characters and discovering clues that might reveal the mansion's many secrets, only take place after the player earns enough money through merges. They use a merge board to fulfill item orders in exchange for coins and gems.
Mansion Tale: Merge Secrets prompts the player to use their coins to finish all renovation and story continuation tasks. They use gems in the merge area to buy extra energy to complete merges, add slots to their storage inventory to empty spaces on the merge board, and speed up time when upgrading merge tools. They also receive coins, energy, gems and other items as gifts after they make a big change to the mansion or open a daily reward box.
