Mahjong Tile Club is a tile-matching game. From level to level, the player attempts to clear patterns of layered Chinese Mahjong tiles in matching pairs from beautiful backgrounds to achieve the highest possible score, unlock new levels, and win mystery chest rewards.
The game starts with a green tabletop and tiles that feature bamboo, Chinese characters, dragon symbols, peacocks, stones, flowers and seasons. It also spreads out animals from the Chinese zodiac across different levels. The player might interact with tiles that display dogs, dragons, goats and horses on one level and then monkeys, oxen, pigs, and tigers on another.
The player can change the imagery at any time via the upper-left gear and Select Theme buttons. Background options include a bamboo forest, a koi pond and cherry trees. Optional tile faces include poker cards and lucky cat and western icons.
Mahjong Tile Club follows classic rules. The player can't select tiles blocked on both the left and right sides or layered underneath other tiles. When they make a selection, the tiles brighten and the upper-center score updates with matching golden light. They earn the most points when they perform consecutive matches. If they achieve a perfect combo, they receive a bonus, and the game auto-selects the remaining pairs.
Options below a pattern to shuffle all tiles into new positions and highlight matching pairs with pulsating blue light also improve the player's chances of earning a high score. The player receives additional access after two free turns per tool by viewing ads and winning rewards. They can double the amount of access when they open a prize chest by viewing an ad as well.
