Mahjong Solitaire Meditation is a relaxing tile-matching game based on Chinese Mahjong. On the home screen, the game shows a peaceful painting of an outdoor scene. The player can start, review the leaderboard, or share the game. When they opt to play, their only objective is to clear away the entire layered pattern of tiles from a green tabletop at their own pace. This game has no other expectations. It doesn't have a score goal or a timer.
The gameplay matches most classic versions. The tiles have traditional Chinese Mahjong icons, including bamboo, birds, characters, dragons, flowers, seasons and stones. The player selects pairs of uncovered matching tiles that have at least one left or right edge free. A matching set can have identical symbols or come from the same flowers or seasons category. With each reveal, the game converts the tiles into splashy blue bubbles that fade away.
Mahjong Solitaire Meditation doesn't automatically end the game when the player runs out of moves. Instead, it offers unlimited free shuffles on a pop-up painting. The player can also reload the current game at any time. They merely need to select the three-line menu button in the upper-right area and then the back arrow button.
The player can even make their game more comfortable and satisfying by customizing the tiles and background. After selecting the menu button, they merely need to select a paint palette button and then choose one of two tile options and one of three different colored backgrounds that feature unique patterns.
