If they use the eye, they see all available tiles for a few seconds. If they use the snowflake, they prevent their opponent from completing moves for 20 seconds.
Mahjong Online rewards the player with gems and stars. They can use the gems to buy access to the tools when they run out of free options. With the stars, they must return to the home screen to select renovation options. The player also receives gift boxes after so many wins.
