Magic Nail Salon is a makeover game in the dress-up category that focuses on the tools and services available at a professional nail salon. The player can use the game to practice nail design and even tattoo selection and accessorizing with jewelry. They can then use their play to inspire real-world nail and hand makeover decisions or share their hand makeover combinations with others.
The player first selects a skin tone. After they use the nail icon on the next screen to choose a nail shape, they paint each nail individually. They can keep the natural color or apply nail polish. They can also add decals, rhinestones, stickers or patterns. The game provides the player with tools to reposition the decorative elements.
Additionally, Magic Nail Salon offers the player tools for placing, resizing and positioning a temporary tattoo on the hand, rings on the fingers and a bracelet on the wrist.
