LOLBeans.io is a competitive racing game set in various battle arenas known as communities in a world where candy, ice cream and other types of food and desserts are part of each obstacle course and background. The player, as a cute candy bean, must run, jump and roll as quickly as possible to reach the finish line in each round to prevent them from being eliminated from a battle royale against other online players. The player must push aside other beans and use cunning, hand-eye coordination and precise timing to move quickly. The person who wins all the rounds receives a crown.
The player starts by giving their bean a name and color. As the player earns coins, they can upgrade to special colors and unlock additional bean characters, outfits and accessories. They choose a community (Best Rated, New or Trending), such as a water park or cube maze, or allow the game to randomly pick one. They can also create a party or use a code from someone else to join a party.
LOLBeans.io features a lot of obstacles, including moving hammers, pit spikes, sliding gates, rotating tunnels, slippery inclines and floor drops. The player can watch others play in an arena to learn their strategies by selecting Spectate via the Settings. They can also use a chat tool to talk to other players.
