Logica Emotica by Bart Bonte, as its name implies, is a logic-based game that features fun emoji-based puzzles. A player must use logic to figure out the best way to solve each mindbender.
The game displays different playfields, including a black background with rows of green saguaro cacti and an off-white one with dots. Every level has unique emojis, such as smiley faces, professionals and objects from their career fields and animals or pets. The player moves one or more of these emojis around to solve a logic puzzle. For example, they might help an unhappy, sweating smiley face push rocks out of their path to reach a water faucet.
In some levels, Logica Emotica fills in the last-visited space on the field with a solid, immovable object, such as a filled-in circle, to block the path backwards so that the player can't retrace the steps they took with one or more emojis. The game also provides hints to help the player find the right path. When the player succeeds at guessing or following the correct moves, the game plays fun music and displays flashing emojis, such as fireworks, flowers and stars.
