Letters Match is a letter match and word search game. On a grid of black squares against a white background, the player attempts to clear levels called stages by finding specific pairs of matching letters and magic words among mixed-up letters. Their goal is to earn a high score and unlock new stages.
As with classic word searches, the player can select letters diagonally, horizontally and vertically. They can also perform matches by selecting a letter from the end of one row and another letter from the beginning of the next one. That said, selectable letters are always adjacent or separated by one or more empty grid spaces.
Letters Match offers the player several features to help them complete a stage. For access to hints, they can use a book icon near the upper-right corner and a black light bulb button at the lower-right corner. If they run out of hints, they can acquire access to more by viewing ad videos. If they run out of moves, they can use a plus (+) button below the center bottom of the grid to add a new line of mixed letters.
At the end of a stage or after reaching a certain score, the player receives a gift box that contains an extra hint or line. The player can only reach the next stage by reaching a specific high score. They can track their points at the top center above the grid and stage number.
