Laser Cannon 2 is a tactical, sharp shooter that requires the player to use an advanced laser cannon to shoot and kill small, fluffy creatures or monsters with sharp claws and teeth in an alien landscape. The game is set up so that the player must solve physics puzzles to successfully reach the monsters that are hidden inside of spaces underground or behind walls or objects like barrels filled with explosive fuel, force fields, stone blocks and wooden boxes. A Level Complete board appears after each win. The player receives up to three achievement stars and can review their score for the previous level and over time before going to the next level. Although the monsters are NPCs, they seem to respond to the player's actions as the game progresses. When the player kills one, a skull appears, and then the monster's body vibrates and collapses into a pile of black ash.
How to play:
Kill all monsters to win each level. Move the laser cannon or its barrel into the most optimal position to make a shot. Solve puzzles to reach hidden monsters. For example, push a button to open a door, fire at a reflective surface to bounce a shot, shoot a barrel to cause an explosion, make a power shot to destroy a wall or break a chain to drop a hanging object.
Controls:
Mouse: Control the laser cannon's barrel by moving your mouse. If you have a keyboard, press the WASD or arrow keys to move the barrel up, left, down or right. To move the cannon, position the crosshair icon atop it until two arrows appear, and use the mouse or keys to move it left or right. To shoot, position the crosshair atop the target, and click the left mouse button. To make a power shot, shoot the Power Bonus icon, position the crosshair, and click and hold the mouse button for two seconds.
Mobile: Control the barrel's movement on a touchpad or touchscreen by sliding your finger on the surface. Tap once to shoot. To move the cannon, position the crosshair atop it, and slide your finger left or right. For a power shot, shoot the Power Bonus, position the crosshair, and tap and hold the left touchpad button or touchscreen surface.
