Labubu Pop is a connect-style bubble-popping game. On each level, the player must reach a specific score by merging bubbles that look like Kasing Lung's popular Labubu monsters inside of a cardboard box. They must complete their task before time runs out. They also attempt to earn three achievement stars per level.
The player performs the merge action by drawing a connecting blue glowing line across three or more adjacent matching Labubu heads. When a connection works, the game displays a small blue dot on a head. As a result, the action is similar to a connect-the-dots puzzle.
When the player completes the connections, the game automatically merges the pieces at the last connection point and then pops a new, larger Labubu monster into existence. It also drops more heads into the box from above to fill any large open gaps.
The game assigns points in the upper-center area. It also adds more seconds onto the horizontal timer bar in the upper-right corner. With each new level, the game doesn't remove the previous score. It includes the points toward the next score target.
Labubu Pop allows the player to connect matching monster heads across a slight, medium-length, or wide gap and ones that directly touch. A connection across a gap only works as long as the gap is entirely open without any part of a non-matching head in the way. If even the tip of an ear is in the gap, the game won't allow the player's line to make the connection.
