Kitchen Bazar is a business-startup game set in Manhattan that features time-management and interior-design elements. The player as a chef must become the most famous one in the city. Yet, most famous chefs start out small, which is exactly how the game begins. The chef has a small restaurant in the city that sells juice, cake and hotdog dishes. To win each level, the player must craft menus that their customers love, earn money to pay for upgrades, deliver meals quickly for tips, remodel their building and grow their business to make it great.
If the player can't keep their customers happy because of their ingredient selections or the time it takes to serve dishes, they become less and less successful. The game provides a lot of hints to help, including recipes the player can review on a customer's order and white highlighting around the correct ingredients for the next dish. With happy customers, the player receives tips and can afford to make their dream restaurant a reality.
Kitchen Bazar also provides free and purchasable boosters that multiply earnings and provide more time to complete orders. These tools are especially important when attempting to handle combo orders that include more than one dish or a beverage. The player must also prevent food rot. They receive access to a sponge that they can use to erase rotten ingredients.
