Jewel Legend Quest is a match-3 game set in a mine. The player's goal is to achieve score goals across each of the game's astounding 675 levels by swapping jewels to create triplets of matching pieces in a row or column.
That said, this isn't an effortless feat. The game provides the player with a limited number of moves. Additionally, they must attempt to earn three stars per level. The easiest way to do so is by completing a goal with even fewer moves than available.
The game presents a grid of jewels in a play area positioned under a wooden mine archway. The player tracks their goal, number of moves, and current score above the play grid. When they swap two jewels to create a line of three or more, they receive points.
When the player creates lines of four or more matching jewels, they receive helpful boosters, including blast candles and bombs. The game rewards boosters as well. For example, the player can use a map booster to swap two adjacent jewels without a match to set up the creation of a future line. They can use a mine cart to automatically pull random jewels from the grid.
Jewel Legend Quest offers many additional challenges. For example, the player might need to clear a grid of square objects underneath the jewels, such as glass panes, to move onto the next level. The game also presents them with huge grids that have tiny jewels that are more difficult to match.
