Impostor is a new, free online game. It's also the first of its kind! The impostor has an engaging story about a fictional world where aliens invade humans. I play the role of one of the last surviving humans in this world - my mission is to kill as many aliens as I can before they get me. The only problem? They're everywhere!
The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward: all I have to do is point my cursor at an alien and click on it to shoot or use another weapon that may be available in that particular level. If there are other weapons nearby, these will show up for the purchase with cash collected from killing enemies. These include spanners (for repairing broken machines) grenades (for getting out of bad situations) and dynamite (for removing large bricks in my way). I can also spend cash on upgrading each weapon or buy new weapons altogether. These all different cost money - the more powerful the weapon is, the more expensive it will be!
Fortunately, I am not defenseless against the aliens' attacks. Each time I die, the game resets so that I will start again at the same place as last time. This means I don't need to pay any extra for re-spawning. My health starts back at zero when I restart too, so if it gets really low, I should reload the game instead.
At the end of every level, there will be a boss fight. The boss isn't always easy to defeat either; some bosses even require specific strategies to beat them! After beating the boss, I will get to take their ship back to Earth, which should give me enough points to unlock the next level.
