How to Loot? is a pull-the-pin logic puzzle game. It tasks a player with solving puzzles across 100 levels to help a young knight acquire great treasures.
In stone fortress towers and dungeons, during the day and at night, skeletal monsters in green armor wearing horned helms guard caches of gold coins and gemstones in piles and chests. In some levels, other deadly obstacles exist, such as metal spike traps and molten lava.
The knight can only stop these creatures and reach wealth when the player pulls pins that block the knight's access to an area. The game also features save-the-princess and love-reward elements. In some levels, the player might find a princess who needs help. When they direct the knight successfully, the knight receives love, and red hearts float through the air.
How to Loot? offers the player assistance in some levels. For example, in lava levels, the player can direct the lava outdoors or quench it with fire. If they perform the latter action, they can create heavy stones to drop on a monster's head. The game also automatically makes the monster move toward the knight when he drops down to the same floor, which means that the player can sometimes kill a monster by simply placing the knight in front of it and allowing it to walk into a trap.
The player receives coins when they win a level. They can multiply their winnings by watching advertisements.
