As the name clearly states, Hidden Objects Brain Teaser is a hidden-objects puzzle game. Unlike many casual games in the genre, it doesn't force the player to follow a complicated subplot involving a story with in-game characters or perform renovations to a mansion and landscape, as seen with Lily's Garden and June's Journey. Instead, this game is a straightforward fun that provides casual enjoyment and focuses on improving concentration and memory.
The player is introduced immediately to a scene and a task to find objects hidden in plain sight within the environment, as revealed on a horizontal bar at the bottom of the screen. Any object might have significance for the task, including patterns or object-shaped shadows on linens, furniture and walls. Objects also might not fit into the theme of the scene. Once the player finds all the items, they're prompted to move onto the next level.
Hidden Objects Brain Teaser displays each new level as one of a wide range of detailed, colorful, semi-realistic scenes, such as a room in a mansion or beach house, an office that belongs to a detective or secretary, a crashed airplane, an antique shop, a car interior or a garden. As the player progresses through the game, they face increasingly difficult searches for hidden objects. That said, the game also offers them the opportunity to receive several hints per level.
