Hexelki is an endless casual tile-merging game that features 2048 and Hexa elements. The player merges adjacent numbered hexagon-shaped tiles on a playfield to create higher-numbered ones. Their goals are to play as long as possible and earn the highest global score.
The game distributes the hexa tiles in a mixed vertical layout. When the player finds a cluster of adjacent matching tiles, they select one in a spot where they want the next highest-evolved tile to form. They must always make a selection this way to guarantee that their move places a newly evolved tile in an optimal position adjacent to other matching ones. Otherwise, they might cause too many tiles to form or drop over time into useless non-matching adjacent positions.
Hexelki offers the player two boosters to free up space on the field. It prompts them at random to view an ad video and then rewards them with coins they can use to buy the boosters. They can also manually choose to view an ad video by selecting a booster button and agreeing to a pop-up message. Each booster removes all of one displayed type of tile from the field, and the remaining tiles slide down into the gaps.
The player can monitor their current score at any time in the upper center. They can review their all-time score next to a crown in the upper-left corner and their balance of coins beneath it.
