Hexa Sort Master is a block-style logic-puzzle game that features sorting tasks across levels. Against a gradient-blue backdrop, the player sorts stacks of mix-colored hexagon-shaped tiles atop grids made of gray pavers displayed in various patterns. Their goals are to complete score tasks, earn coins and finish quests.
The game requires that the player sort three stacks at a time based on color and an icon printed on the top of each tile. Tile icons include clouds, droplets, flames, keys, skulls, stars and swords. The player can only use empty paver spaces for sorting purposes. They earn points after they've successfully sorted the tiles into high enough stacks.
The player sorts by sliding a stack onto an empty paver and then sliding a different stack with a matching top color and icon next to it. The game automatically flips the matching portion of the first stack onto the second one. If colored tiles in the lower, uncovered part of the stack match any adjacent stacks, then those tiles also automatically flip into a new position.
If the player runs out of space, Hexa Sort Master gives them access to stack removal, repositioning and shuffle boosters. With their coin winnings, they can buy more boosters over time.
At the end of a level, the player can view an ad video to receive extra coins. They also receive coins, heart lives, infinite heart lives or boosters via daily gifts when they use a calendar icon on the home screen. If they meet certain goals, they receive additional rewards on the quest popup accessible via a scroll icon on the same screen.
