Hexa Master 3D: Sort Puzzle is a sorting game with a build component. The player builds beautiful scenes on floating tiny islands with colorful wooden hexagon-shaped tiles called hexas that they collect via sorting actions. They rearrange stacks of mixed-color tiles on a grid to create new stacks that contain color-matched tiles.
The player receives a set of three stacks at a time. They move the pieces onto grid spaces in positions that allow the top tiles to auto-flip onto color-matched tiles at the top of adjacent stacks. They keep placing stacks until they collect enough tiles, as determined by a goal displayed in the upper-left area next to a rainbow-striped tile.
Hexa Master 3D: Sort Puzzle offers four boosters. The player can use a mallet to remove any stack, a glove to swap two stacks, double arrows to shuffle unplaced stacks with new ones, and a bomb to clear both a selected stack and other ones in a radius around it. They can also open more spaces with ad views.
The build component doesn't involve merges in a crafting scenario. Instead, the player uses the collected tiles to auto-construct the floating island retreats. At the time of this writing, the retreats include the Royal Pavilion, Zen Garden, Flower Field, Sakura Cabin and Mushroom Home. The game's developers add new ones from time to time.
The game also allows the player to randomly unlock new backgrounds with coins. They earn additional coins by viewing ads and collecting daily and task, achievement, and treasure chest rewards.
