Hexa Blast is a merge logic puzzle game that features multicolored shapes similar to polyomino square-block forms but with a hexagon-shaped twist. Each level of the game features a board and several hex-block shapes. The player must fill the empty spaces on the board with these forms. Yet the hex blocks only fit together like a puzzle in one specific way. If the player completes the task correctly, they unlock a new level and receive points in XP, star and key categories.
The game also features a home renovation theme. The player can eventually use their points to renovate a damaged living space with new walls, a floor, one or more windows, furniture and decorative items. The game alerts the player of a renovation opportunity with a red exclamation mark on the home button.
Hexa Blast provides the player with a variety of ways to increase their points and renovate a room faster. They can open treasure chests. They can also multiply their winnings by watching advertisements. The game even offers a hint tool that shows them the placement of one hex-block shape on a board. When they run out of hints, they can earn new ones by watching ads.
