Harvest Day Mahjong 3D is a three-dimensional block-matching game that features a Levels Mode and a Challenge Mode. The player's primary objective is to remove cubes and other structures floating above a wooden table in different scenes by selecting blocks in matching pairs.
The blocks feature common harvest and farm imagery, such as autumn leaves, baskets of wheat, loaves of bread, carrots, corncobs, garlic, horseshoes, ladybugs, milk pails, pigs, pumpkins, red barns, strawberries, sunflowers, tractors and wood fences. The player removes a pair by selecting a block, waiting for the game to highlight it, and then selecting a second one that displays a matching picture. They can only remove blocks that have at least one open left or right side.
In Levels Mode, the player has a limited amount of time to remove blocks across levels. Their goals are to clear all blocks and earn the highest score possible. In Challenge Mode, they must complete their task quickly across 23 levels before time runs out. With each match, they earn more time. They receive both hint and shuffle buttons in the upper-left corner. They can only use these tool once for free. For additional access, they must view ad videos.
Harvest Day Mahjong 3D also allows the player to rotate the cube and other patterns. This feature gives them the ability to search for usable blocks from all sides.
