Hand Or Money is a skill-based game similar to the traditional Red Hands slap game. With the classic game, a player places their hands on another person's hands and attempts to pull their hands back without receiving slaps to the backs of their hands from the other person. The game requires fast movements coupled with excellent hand-eye coordination.
Hand Or Money requires the same skills. It doesn't use another set of hands. Instead, the player must attempt to grab money from a pedestal on the other side of a mini-guillotine in front of a crowd. They must reach through the blade drop zone with an onscreen hand. They must move the hand fast enough to prevent an injury. Their only goal in the game is to acquire as much money as possible.
If the player does well, they receive cash and move on to another slap test during the same level. They can multiply the final amount by watching an advertisement. There are three tests per level. If they fail and the blade cuts the hand, they must spend some money to try again.
Hand Or Money challenges the player with one or more blades and varying drop intervals. The money might also rotate on the platform.
