Guess the Picture is a hidden-object word puzzle game. Across modes and levels, the player's goals are to use a limited number of moves to remove blue cells hiding photographs and then use letter tiles to guess the object or event hidden in the photos. They earn coins for their efforts. They earn bonus coins by viewing ad videos.
The game offers two modes (Play and Packs). With Play, the player guesses random pictures. They initially receive only five free moves. With Packs, they must guess based on theme categories (Sports, Cities, Flags, Animals, Cartoons 1, Cartoons 2, Professions and Retro) and initially receive six free moves. They must play the packs in order to unlock each one after the Sports theme category.
Guess the Picture helps the player guess the subject of a photograph. Beyond the player's initial free moves, they can use coins to buy hints. When they select the lightbulb button, the game offers four hint options. The player can use a +1 cell hint for an extra move. A first letter hint reveals the first letter of a word in the empty spaces below the photo. The player can make the game remove all unnecessary letters. Lastly, they can skip a level entirely. They can also undo their last move at any time with a back arrow button.
When the player starts a new level, the game resets their number of moves. It also rewards them with more coins for guessing the photo without using all their available moves.
