Guess 150 Pokmons is a brain teaser game that tests a player's knowledge of the Pokmon role-playing, battle-arena trainer games. Against a black backdrop, the player receives a colored picture of a Pokmon, or pocket monster, from the popular Pokmon global franchise. They must guess the name of the character.
The game provides four monster name buttons below the image. The player selects the one they believe is correct. If they make the right choice, yellow stars appear in bursts on the screen. The player also receives a point next to the green check mark in the area to the left of the statement "Guess the Pokemon" and the current number out of 150 above the image.
If the player makes the wrong selection, they lose one of three Pok Balls in the upper-right area. The spot also transforms into a dark red circle. If the player loses all three Pok Balls, they fail the challenge. They can earn more balls and restart at their last save point by watching advertising videos.
Guess 150 Pokmons typically plays an advertisement after an incorrect guess. It sometimes plays ad videos between correct ones as well. Some players might find this irritating over time since they don't earn additional Pok Balls for these views.
