Gin Rummy is played with a standard deck of cards. This iconic game uses a Random Number Generator to draw hands from 52 cards. Jokers or wild cards are not included.
The order from highest to lowest is K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A.
The goal
The first player to get 100 points by combining three or more cards wins the round.
Dealing
Each participant picks a card. If you draw the highest card, you get to choose where to sit. You also become the dealer, handing out ten cards to each player. The top card left after issuing everyone their cards gets flipped over. This move forms a stock deck to discard pile.
Playing
Players fold when their combinations don't have a value of more than 10 points. Players either get knocked out or announce Gin. Gin means the player has partially won, while knocking implies that the game can go either way.
Bonuses
Players who acquire 500 points receive a bonus of 100 points. Users get 25 bonus points for every game won.
