Geometry Arrow is a levels-style platformer in the Geometry Dash subcategory. It features 12 levels that transition through various easy, hard, insane and demon modes. The player can determine the difficulty level based on displayed emoji. They can play any mode at any time. That said, the easier modes can help them train to win the harder ones. To win, they must complete a level entirely from start to finish.
As with all Geometry Dash games, the player receives an object avatar. In this case, they receive an arrow-shaped spaceship. They must navigate the ship through dangerous obstacles to the end of the level. Common obstacles include ceiling and incline structures, upper and lower pointed spikes, and a wide variety of geometric shapes that hang in midair positions.
Geometry Arrow doesn't challenge the player with enemies like traditional platformers. Instead, it's a skill game in which the player must show that they can direct the arrow spaceship with precise movements of their controls. This type of game requires excellent hand-eye coordination and timing and the ability to make rapid adjustments in ever-changing environments.
If the player completes all 12 levels, they unlock a special 13th level. They can't access this level without winning all the levels before it.
