Don't get hooked on matching pairs right away. You need to clear the board and you'll do that best by using all the tiles in each round. Be aware of what your opponent is doing, but don't let it affect your judgment!
Keep an eye out for special tiles such as dragons and flushes, which can add up to a lot of points. But watch out for those all-important special moves, too!
Click the shuffle button if you think your opponent is making too many moves or if you need a change of strategy. You can also click it as a last resort when there are no more moves possible and the tiles don't seem to have any pairs.
